Committee on Facilities Management

 

The NZVCC’s Committee on Facilities Management comprises the Directors of Facilities Management at each university. The Committee acts collectively to provide leadership in the management of resources for the maintenance, compliance, sustainability and facilitation of the New Zealand universities’ property and related infrastructure assets.

 

The Committee on Facilities Management pursues this objective by: 

  • representing the universities’ interests in key national and international facilities management organisations;
  • exploiting opportunities for co-operation, collaboration and group purchasing;
  • sharing information on service solutions, best practice, statutory and regulatory impacts, construction KPIs, advances and strategic developments in facilities management;
  • collaborating on the development and application of benchmarking, standards and best practice;
  • advising the NZVCC on facilities management issues, and
  • collaborating with other NZVCC committees on matters of common interest.
