If you have been out of the university system for more than five years then send your application directly to the Scholarships Manager at the New Zealand Vice-Chancellors’ Committee.

A. No. It is best that you apply concurrently for any and all scholarships that you are eligible to apply for. As most NZ students wishing to study overseas, head to the northern hemisphere, the difference in the northern and southern hemisphere academic calendars means that by the time you hear whether you have a place in a UK/US university, the closing date for NZ based scholarships will have passed.
A. No. We do not keep unsuccessful applications. If you wish to reapply for any scholarship you will have to complete and submit a new application form.
A. This depends upon the scholarship. Sometimes you will be asked to accept by a certain date, sometimes you will be expected to accept or decline, immediately.
A. No. You must submit a complete application for each scholarship. Each scholarship is considered by a separate committee.
A. Incomplete applications cannot be considered.
A. A certified copy is a photocopy which has been certified by a solicitor, JP or school principal that it is a true copy of the original. The person certifying the document will also have to sight the original document.
A. Following selection of a scholarship, all candidates are advised the outcome of their applications by either post or e-mail. If you havent heard anything yet, the selection process may not yet have been completed.
